Ms. Ross comes to art after a long career as a psychotherapist and African Medieval Historian. This allows her to draw from diverse cultures and experiences, conscious and unconscious processes in order to create art that is both intensely personal as well as universal in its sensibility. She has exhibited in curated shows in New York and Pennsylvania where she now lives.
